Annette Funicello was an American actor and singer. The most well-known part of her career was "one of the first Mouseketeers" as part of the Mickey Mouse Club. The singer's career began as an young adolescent. Born and raised in Utica, to Italian parents who were immigrants from Italy, Annette was a shy teenager. Annette wanted to pursue the profession of entertainer and began dancing and acting. She gained fame during the 1950s, when she was a part of the "Mouseketeers". Annette was able to shed her Disney identity in her adult years and began to take on roles for adults. The most well-known is the actor who introduced the "beach-party" category. Her appearances in films included 'How to Stuff a wild bikini.' Pajama Party.' and Beach Party. Annette was recording music from time-to-time. Annette was initially diagnosed as having MS around the year 1992. The year 2013 was the year she died of the disease.
