Robyn Rihanna popularly known as Rihanna in Barbados, is an Barbadian performer and musician who has provided us with hits songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. Rihanna is an extremely well-known performer who has sold more than 41 million albums across the globe and over 150 million songs. Born in Barbados, she was able to appreciate reggae music and began singing when she was a young child. Afraid of the chaos in her family and endless arguments with her parents, she immersed herself in music and eventually realized that she wanted to become an accomplished singer. When she was still in high school, she formed a music group, and was asked to audition to be a part of Evan Rodgers. The producer was extremely impressed by the ability of this girl. In order to make an income as a professional musician she was asked to relocate to New York. Rihanna released her first album and was an overnight sensation. Rihanna was loved by young people due to her lively and foot-tapping songs. This led to Rihanna becoming a director. She is a young, talented woman who has become an icon of fashion and teen icon.
